Old oil out, new oil in, and the filter is changed. Which oil and which filter your car takes is confirmed by the shop with the model and the engine in front of it.
Levels are checked and you are told which are fine and which need attention. You are notified before anything billed separately is topped up.
Tires, brakes, lights, wipers and leaks, with the car up on the lift. Whatever is wearing out is told to you while the car is still in the shop, not on the next visit.
